Hexagon Card

I made this hexagon card yesterday.  I used the Hexagon Cover Plate from Papertrey Ink and viewed Nichol Heady's instructional video from here.  She has designed a chart, figuring out color sequences so that no like colors are touching.  You can download her free chart from here.

This was a fun card to make and her instructions are easy to follow.  Any mistakes you see on the card are from ME not being careful enough!

First Day of Pre K

I finished a layout of our youngest granddaughter's first day of school.  Delaney was excited, but nervous.  She has always been cared for during the day by me and her other Grandmother and has only been to day care at church, but she was fine and said "it was awesome", and she likes her teacher.

Birthday Card

Wow, it has been a long time since I posted!  I really have good intentions, but life happens!

Here is a very simple card that I made a few weeks ago.  The idea came from Jennifer McGuire here, but is not nearly as fancy as hers.  I wish the glittery background showed up here as well as it does in real life.

Supplies used:
  • Circle Burst Die - Large - Memory Box
  • White Cardstock - Georgia Pacific from Walmart
  • Blue Glitter Paper - DCWV Holiday Matstack
  • Tempting Turquoise Ink Pad - Stampin' Up!
  • Happy Birthday Stamp - Hero Arts - Year Round Sentiments

Halloween T-Shirts

Tonight I made some Halloween T-Shirts for my granddaughters.  I wasn't sure how these would turn out because of the black shirts and the black in the mages, but I think they look fine and I really enjoyed making them.  Next time I will cut out a small white border around them instead of the large square.

This is the front of the shirt.  Click the image to enlarge.

Here is the back of the T-Shirt.  Click the image to enlarge.
